Job Description

Lead the development, maintenance, and delivery of technology-driven software solutions for the company’s proprietary Smart software products. Perform activities throughout all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous integration, building and debugging processes, testing, and operations. Gather and analyze requirements for applications and develop appropriate and innovative software design solutions to meet user needs. Create technical and functional designs and specifications and determine project scope, goals, phases, and timelines. Develop applications using a variety of web-based technologies and development languages such as React, JavaScript, .Net, HTTP, REST, and JSON. Create database tables, views, triggers, packages, and procedures to manage all user information and to allow the business layer of the application to interact with the data layer of the application. Manipulate information using CRUD operations of SQL management studio and manage information access and data transmission supported using .Net. Test applications for any performance and security issues and debug the application to ensure quality and performance. Perform Unit and Integration Testing using N-Unit and Visual Studio testing framework. Implement updates, repairs, and enhancements to existing application functionalities to improve operational efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Provide technical support to application users and create and update documentation and user manuals for software products. Stay abreast of the latest technological advances and industry trends to ensure optimal performance and effective applications development.

Requirements:

The position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related position. This may be substituted with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related position. The position requires knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET, Visual Studio, Web API, JavaScript, JQuery, T-SQL, SQL Server, Ajax, and CSS. The position requires incidental travel – 1% of work time, not more than several days a few times a year.40 hours/week.
