Smart Energy Water (SEW) Enhances its Platform Capabilities to Build Superior Customer and Workforce Experiences for Global Energy and Water Utilities

Irvine, California – Smart Energy Water (SEW), a global energy and water cloud platform provider serving over 360+ utilities worldwide, announced earning a Silver program Esri Partner Network relationship with Esri, the global leader in location intelligence. This relationship will enable SEW to deliver real-time location mapping to joint utility customers for unified customer experiences and mobile field service operations.

SEW's digital customer experience platforms offer account management, service, outage management, AI/ML analytics, multichannel communication, and more. While the workforce experience platform helps utilities to intelligently manage field operations for making service experiences effortless for end customers. SEW will use Esri's ArcGIS technology to integrate its platforms with mapping technology, simplify workflows and improve process efficiency. The integrations will help connect customers and utility workers to information on any device and incorporate technological advancements in geographic information systems (GIS).

SEW will improve customer engagements and operational efficiency across the utility value chain by leveraging the ArcGIS software expertise provided by participating in the Esri Partner Network. The new capabilities will integrate geographic information systems (GIS) data, providing real time view of outage map, storm center, payment locations, EV charging stations etc., to the utility customers.

SEW will now also offer an expansive set of contextual capabilities to perform integrated map-based workflows such as work order creation, identifying trouble locations, view outages on the map, and associating them to work orders. The new tools will allow its customers' instant access to the latest data, resulting in intuitive map views and a productive way of accessing information. The capabilities will facilitate utilities to manage and control assets, gain unprecedented visibility over business-critical information, and help build connected customer-workforce experiences.
