Design, develop and deliver technology-driven software solutions for Smart Energy Water’s proprietary software products. Gather and analyze business requirements for the company’s SmartCX, SmartWX, and SmartiX proprietary software solutions and develop complex technical solutions to meet client’s needs. Create functional designs and specifications and prepare documentation for the required reports. Develop comprehensive functional specifications for the product’s user interface, data flow, system behavior, and integration points. Write high quality, maintainable code that implements the functionality outlined in the design, adhering to coding standards. Work closely with software developers to ensure that features are implemented according to specifications and align with business goals. Perform comprehensive testing including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s proprietary products. Serve as a liaison between technical and business aspects of the project to ensure that the client’s business needs are translated into effective software solutions. Stay abreast of the latest technological advances and industry trends and identify enhanced business use cases, technology features, and other opportunities to provide additional value to the company’s clients.
The position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related position. This requirement may be substituted with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered a related position. The position requires skills and knowledge in MS Azure, Excel, SQL, MS PowerBI, Tableau, Visio, JIRA and Confluence. The position requires incidental travel, 5% of time, not more than several days a few times a year within the United States.
40 hours/week.
Salary: $184,558.00 per year.
